Both of us are glad we chose to stay at the resort because you have access to towels and a nice, cozy robe and a special area for hotel guests only with friendly personnel providing water stations posted at different locations and it’s super convenient to be spontaneous and just go to any of the pools without pre-planning.To reach Radium Hot Springs on the Colorado River, there are actually two routes. Our main reason for being here is for the springs, The Springs Resort is unique in that there are so many to choose from all at different temperatures and locations within the property. My sister and I did a week long trek across the Southwest and I’m so glad we included Pagosa Springs in our adventure. I would HIGHLY recommend this property and will definitely let friends and family know that this is a perfect place to spend a few days! More Show less Cool, fresh water was easily accessible to drink, and the water temperature was perfect. I experienced the pools at about 8:30 at night and was delighted that we only had to share the pool that we chose with one other person. With gorgeous, snow-capped mountains in the distance, beautiful landscaping, and a rapidly flowing, coursing river nearby, the many geothermal pools are a delight to immerse oneself in. People seemed to really like their jobs! The beauty of the resort obviously contributes to this attitude. What struck me about this property was the welcoming and sincere friendliness of the employees. Also, the comfortable bed was a real treat after sleeping intermittently on the ground for 3 days in between the call of the drumbeat. the resort was a perfect place to rejuvenate and relax after the intensity of the dance. After dancing with no food, water, or talking. I recently visited the Springs Resort after participating in a Sun Moon Dance for 3 days with the intention of healing Mother Earth and for world peace.
